23 November 2023 marked a significant milestone for NEFIN as they conducted a completion and delivery ceremony for the Shenzhen Longgang Wanda 2MW/4MWH energy storage project, successfully integrated into the grid.
Representing NEFIN’s inaugural venture into industrial and commercial energy storage in China, this project holds the distinction of being Wanda Group’s first-ever energy storage initiative. Situated on the northeast side of Wanda Plaza in Longgang, Shenzhen, the project was spearheaded by NEFIN, covering investment, construction, and operations. Qingdao Nahui Energy, a subsidiary of Haier Group, played a crucial role as the supplier of energy storage products.
With the rise of new energy and energy storage sector, the Longgang Wanda project underscores the advantages of user-side energy storage, including peak shaving, increased power backup capacity, cost reduction, and enhanced efficiency. NEFIN’s collaboration with Wanda signals its strategic foray into continuous investment in photovoltaic storage applications within commercial buildings.
