Bosch Nanjing has marked another significant achievement in its commitment to green energy by signing a 2MW/4MWh Energy Storage System contract with NEFIN. This milestone was celebrated on 22 November 2023, at the Nanjing plant, where teams from Bosch Nanjing and NEFIN gathered to witness the signing ceremony and commemorating the 30,000 MWh power generation milestone of Bosch Nanjing’s photovoltaic (PV) project.
Marco, General Manager of Bosch Nanjing/Shenzhen Plant, and Chong Bor Hung, Head of Business Development of NEFIN, officially signed the energy management agreement for the first energy storage project in China on behalf of both parties respectively. The initiative aligns with the growing trend in battery energy storage development and reflects NEFIN’s tailored solutions to suit the growing requirements of our customers.
The solar PV project, which is Bosch’s largest renewable energy project in China, has been operational since its grid connection in 2019. Over the course of four years, the project has provided Bosch with 30,000 MWh of clean energy. The collaborative efforts of the Bosch NJP1 team and NEFIN, with other departments offering substantial support, played a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the project.
Throughout the four-year operation, NEFIN has actively enhanced and optimized the O&M system, deploying three O&M personnel on-site to promptly address Bosch’s needs and understanding their daily operations and energy usage in order to propose a more detailed customised solution. Building on this success, NEFIN is using this as a benchmark to extend support to other projects in the region.
Recognizing Bosch as one of its key strategic partners and anticipating further cooperation together in various green energy developments in the future, NEFIN places great importance on fostering a strong relationship and continue to provide Bosch with high-quality services and professional energy solutions. The commitment to collaboration in the green energy sector is evident in the recent agreement between the two parties for the Nanjing Bosch 2MW/4MWh energy storage project, where NEFIN has provided customised energy storage project solutions based on Bosch’s on-site surveys and measurements.
