Eric Leung, our BD Director at NEFIN HK, participated in a one-day factory tour last Friday that was organized by Group 1 of the Federation of Industry and Commerce (Hong Kong Chemical Industry Association). The event included visits to two member companies: Yip’s Chemical and Mentholatum Zhongshan. The trip was highly informative, and new connections were formed among the delegation members.
During the tour of Bauhinia Ink (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. and New Asia Pacific Inspection Technology Services (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., both owned by Yip’s Chemical, attendees gained valuable insights into modern ink production as well as the integration of inspection, testing, and certification processes crucial to production development.
The delegation concluded their day with a visit to the factory of Mentholatum (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which coincided with the brand’s 135th anniversary. Attendees were pleased to learn first-hand about the high standards behind this renowned care brand and its commitment to sustainable development.
NEFIN gains more understanding through such factory visits on their operation so that we are able to customise carbon neutral solutions to help corporations from various industries to achieve their sustainability goals and to establish meaningful relationships with the other association members.
