Accountant (GL)

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing full set of accounts and management reports for all SEA group entities
  • Perform daily General Ledger accounting tasks for transactional processing and accounting activities, such as the preparation of the appropriate offsetting entries, appropriate documentation & reconciliation (e.g. adjustment journals, depreciation journals, reclass the entries, etc.)
  • Prepare the monthly analysis for financial performance (Act vs Bud) and monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Able to apply relevant local statutory reporting and accounting standards (e.g. MFRS / IFRS) required in the preparation process of accounting books (e.g. period-end adjustments, month-end period closing and reporting, intercompany transaction processing and reconciliation, reconciliation between General Ledger and Sub-Ledgers)

Job Summary

A Human Resource Executive is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing company staffs and interns. He/She is required to handle employee relations and staff's professional and development training. Planning, directing and coordinating the administrative functions of NEFIN, overseeing employees in their duties, consulting with each team members on strategic planning and linking a company's management board with each department team members.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

Reporting to the Technical Head, the Solar Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, with quality and within budget.   • Regular meetings with Project Management Team, Engineers, Accountants, members from hired contractors and sub-contractors, to record and keep track of project status, requirements, specifications, etc
  • Submittals and document controls of and various RFs documents
  • Regular updating of items in company data sharing folder
  • Consolidation, proofreading and distribution of all project information, includes, but not limited to company contracts, contractor/sub-contractor contracts, purchase orders, payment applications, order modifications, proposal letters, meeting minutes, etc
  • Review project forms/procedures and become familiar with unique aspects of each different assigned solar projects
  • Understand billing/payment cycle ad assist in coordinating and distributing payment applications
  • Miscellaneous duties include receptionist support and assistance for team members from interdisciplinary departments as requested

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce or Law
  • 1-3 years of experience with administrative work is favored
  • Organized and efficient to control project documents, records, and reports
  • Owns strong management capability

Job Summary

The Project Engineer role in NEFIN main objectives would be effective Project Delivery – responsible to Project Manager to complete project pipelines as per contracted cost & time while complying to Rule of Law, ensure quality and safe completion of assigned solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teamwork and ability to utilize project management tool such as EVM (Earned Value Management) to manage a large group of construction contractors/sub-contractors’ team
  • Accountable for conforming with details of technical requirements of the client sites during execution
  • Monitoring the project execution schedule while continuous feedback to Project Manager of slippage from intended schedule & provide ways of mitigation
  • Provide with up-to-date daily/weekly/monthly status report for the assigned projects
  • Responsible for handling submission to local authorities for their approvals for project commencement
  • Perform inspection at sites to ensure correct project execution
  • Work along with construction contractors/sub-contractors on project site to ensure safe and compliant standards for projects are met
  • Work along with construction contractors/sub-contractors for estimate figures, including information on prices from suppliers through direct contact
  • Work along with construction contractors/sub-contractors’ team to carry out regular preventive maintenance & troubleshoot of completed Solar projects
  • Responsible to deepen their skills in solar PV design & electrical distribution system while performing projects at their own pace with guidance from Project Manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • Shall have at least a Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to learn in a stressful project environment and capable and willing to work long hour if required
  • Able to converse in English
  • Good communication ability, interpersonal skills, project management skills and organizing abilities
  • Skill in PV solar systems and electrical distribution designing will be an added advantage
